A photographer, filmmaker, designer, and band manager, she captures those spontaneous, living-in-the-moment shots using 35mm film and cool analog techniques like Super 8, 16mm, and stop motion.
And when she’s not behind the camera, you can find Jo Anna enjoying live music, and managing The Charities, an up-and-coming funk and soul band based right in the heart of Southern California.
“The people I surround myself with are a huge source of my creativity,” she tells us. “I am constantly inspired by the people I know and love and the new people I meet. Being outside and enjoying the California lifestyle is also a huge source of my artistic inspiration.”
